We are improving the Microrpross product ordering and fulfillment process. As you might know, Micropross was acquired by NI in 2015. To meet the growing demand for our products and improve the ordering experience for our global customers, we are transitioning back-end order processing and fulfillment to NI.
Effective November 1, 2017, all orders for Micropross products will be fulfilled by NI. During the transition period from November 1 to December 31, 2017, you can order Micropross products through both your traditional Micropross channel and National Instruments. Starting January 1, 2018, you can order Micropross products only through NI, or through your usual Micropross local reseller if you currently order Micropross products through such a reseller.
NI will handle all purchase orders for Micropross products; therefore, if your company or organization needs to qualify NI as a verified supplier, please contact the Micropross sales team (smartcards@micropross.com) immediately to avoid any disruptions
This new process offers you:
• Streamlined purchasing in your local currency
• Local fulfillment with NI handling customs and import documents
• Service improvement with a global support presence and streamlined RMA repair process
Most importantly, these changes help us more effectively serve you and focus on our core competency of building reference test tools for NFC, contactless payment, and wireless charging. Prices will be adjusted to provide these benefits and streamline the import process into your country.
For now, micropross.com will continue to be your primary resource for Micropross product information, data sheets, and sales quotes. Additionally, your primary contact will not change as an immediate result of this transition.
