What is MPManager 3 ?

All MP300 and MP500 devices come supplied with the MPManager user interface. The job of MPManager is to give access to all of the functionalities of your tester, in an easy and convenient manner.

Connection

The connection window of MPManager is the starting point of your MP300 & MP500 user experience. All detected MP300 or MP500 devices are presented, and by double clicking on the one you wish to use, the connection is automatically established. The window also presents information such as the different options that are present inside your hardware, and the calibration date.

Configuration

The configuration window of MPManager allows you to define the test conditions that will be applied during the test session. Depending on the connected MP300 or MP500,this window will show different settings, such as the field strength, the voltage, the carrier frequency. This window is also used to configure the spy feature, and the analog measurements.

Script

The script window shows a catalogue of the different test features of your MP300 or MP500 tester. By combining different actions together, you have the possibility to define your own custom scripts. After editing the scripts, the user can execute them, and collect the results in the “log” sub-window.

Test

Your MP300 or MP500 tester embeds off-the-shelf test functionalities, that can be directly accessed from MPManager. Among the test possible, are the shmoo plot, the resonance frequency/Q factor measurement, open/short, leakage, Iforce/Vforce.

Viewer

All of the MP300 or MP500 testers embed a spy. Depending on the hardware, it might be an external spy, or an internal spy. In any case, MPManager supplies a mean to show the spied data in a user friendly manner, supported by numerous protocol and business oriented decoders. Two level of display are possible: a high level one, with an extensive interpretation of the data, and a low level one, close from the physical layer.
